Acquisition by Royal London - an update
On 4 December 2008 the High Court of Justice in England and Wales gave final approval for Royal London to acquire Scottish Provident branded protection business. This approval paves the way for transfer of the business to be effective on 29 December 2008 as planned.
What this means for you and your clients
It is very much business as usual. Your contacts at Scottish Provident can be reached in the same way and the Scottish Provident brand remains. Our literature will be updated to reflect the new ownership and our existing policyholders have already been contacted as part of the legal process in the lead up to the court hearing.
