Lifeline is a specialist helpline that puts you and your family in touch with a team of fully trained experts who can give practical and confidential information on a wide range of issues including tax, law, health and employment.
Lifeline is a free*, totally confidential service that's available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Lifeline advisers can help you to resolve problems you have with topics such as:
- Legal issues - staffed by qualified and experienced legal advisers.
- Medical information - operated by a team of registered nurses.
- Tax enquiries - experts who can assist with any UK tax problem.
- Stress counselling - staffed by trained counsellors.
- Bereavement counselling - staffed by trained counsellors and legal advisers.
The only area Lifeline doesn't deal with is financial advice - you'll need to speak to your Financial Adviser for that.
*This phone based support package is free (other than the cost of a premium rate call). Please note that Lifeline is provided by a separate company from Scottish Provident and all is advice is therefore independent. Tax helpline is only available 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
